The majority of our candidates now come from either the internet (specialised advertising and searching on candidate databases) or from referrals from other candidates or clients. All candidates are initially interviewed over the phone to assess their suitability to the job and to our agency. Once suitability has been established, we invite them to attend an in-depth interview at our offices. All candidates are met in person by a consultant and most are seen by more than one person. We ask them to complete an application form detailing their previous experience, qualifications and skill-set prior to interviewing them for a minimum of 30 minutes.
After their interview we test every candidate on all relevant packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and typing using the computerised Qwiz package. We are also able to test spelling, grammar and visual accuracy or any other tests you may wish us to carry out. We also have the facility to train our candidates and encourage them to use this at no charge. Our training facilities are also available to you, our client, as a free service.
After you have placed your vacancy with your dedicated consultant they will select a shortlist of candidates' according to the details of your brief. You will only receive CV’s for candidates who have been fully briefed and are interested in your role who we feel will fit your job specification and have the right experience and personality.
CV’s will be sent by email unless otherwise requested and will be accompanied by a written precis giving a brief outline of the candidates' experience, skills, what they are looking for and our impressions of them during their interview.
Once CV’s have been received your consultant will be able to assist you with any further information required and will then organise interviews for you. After the interview they will provide detailed honest feedback to both you and the candidate. Every candidate attending an interview with you will be given pre interview advice to ensure they are fully briefed on your vacancy and your organisation.
If you would like to offer one of our candidates a job, we will negotiate on your behalf. Once a candidate has verbally accepted the position they will usually require a written offer letter, start date and contract before they resign from their current position. We will keep in contact with you and your new employee to ensure that everything is going well.
